The Secretary of State for Tourism calls for 210 training places for tourism quality agents SICTED

Training for new agents SICTED will be carried out in 7 courses in Madrid, Valencia and Seville, during the autumn and winter of 2019< p="">

Under the approach “Keys to the management of the SICTED model, students will learn the fundamentals of the Comprehensive System for Tourism Quality in Destinations SICTED, its organization, particularly around the SICTED Destination, the content and application of the Good Practice Manuals by trade, the processes of obtaining the SICTED Distinction, as well as the functions carried out by the different agents : trainer, advisor, evaluator and, of course, Destination Manager.

The course is proposed with a practical approach that involves the use of the management platform SICTED and carrying out a practical evaluation visit to a SICTED establishment.

The courses cover 5 face-to-face training days, in the morning and afternoon, and are completely free for students.

Recipients

SICTED training is aimed at the following professional profiles:

  • Future SICTED managers. Destination technicians who have expressed their intention to join SICTED and are waiting to receive training to be able to start implementation.
  • SICTED managers of already joined destinations. Technicians from destinations who need training to join the project in their destinations.
  • Tourism technicians from Autonomous Communities, Provincial Councils, and staff from mixed companies from the different levels of the Administration who will have an active role in SICTED through carrying out evaluations and training.
  • Other SICTED agents. New SICTED evaluators, trainers and advisors.
  • SICTED managers already accredited who want to take this training with the intention of retraining in the new methodology.
  • Other interested parties: students, unemployed, and other professionals in the sector.

Dates and venues

The confirmed training program for the last quarter of 2019 and January 2020 is as follows:

  • Valencia: October 14-18, 2019 (registration deadline October 10, 2019)
  • Seville: November 18-22, 2019 (registration deadline November 4, 2019)
  • Seville: November 25-29, 2019 (registration deadline November 11, 2019)
  • Madrid: January 13-17, 2020 (registration deadline January 7, 2020)
