Signing of the action protocol between the Secretary of State for Tourism and the Hospitality Business Confederation of Spain

The Secretary of State for Tourism and the Spanish Hospitality Business Confederation seal an agreement to increase their collaboration in different areas

The Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver, and the president of the Spanish Hospitality Business Confederation, José Luis Yzuel, have signed an action protocol to increase collaboration in different areas and define a permanent framework of coordinated action before international and European bodies in which both parties participate.

The hospitality sector is one of the sectors that makes the greatest contribution to the national economy. Its relevance is not only due to the significant number of establishments dedicated to this activity, the vast majority of which are small and medium-sized companies, but also due to the employment it generates and the multiplier effect of other sectors.

Through the sealed agreement, both parties undertake to analyze the possibilities of intensifying collaboration in areas such as vocational training for employment as an instrument to improve the competitiveness of companies, the prevention of occupational risks or the promotion and dissemination of tourist products related to existing gastronomic routes.
