The state secretariat for Tourism supports the group of world heritage cities of Spain with a grant of €30,000

Isabel Oliver "stresses that the World Heritage Cities are the best ambassadors of our rich culture and heritage in the world"

The Secretary of State for Tourism has made official this Friday the granting of a direct subsidy of 30,000 euros to the Group of World Heritage Cities of Spain, made up of 15 cities.

The presentation ceremony for the granting of this subsidy took place at the Government Delegation of Palma and was chaired by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Oliver, and the mayor of Ibiza and president of the GCPHE, Rafael Ruiz .

For OIiver “the World Heritage Cities have become very attractive cultural tourism destinations for those who visit us and are an important vector of development, social cohesion, and the generation of wealth and employment. Furthermore, they are the best ambassadors of our rich culture and heritage in the world while helping to consolidate the Spain brand.”
